Only at Flevo the tickets were fl.10,-, they have raised to fl.12,50. Cush will open the evening at 09:30 pm, the Violets will close this years Flevo Afterparty. Make sure you come in time (like 08:00 pm) to try to buy some leftover tickets at the door or mail me to make a reservation. Act quick!

The Violets are preparing for another Europe trip. Playing at the Flevo Festival and the Stairway to Heaven club in Utrecht again, Dutch Violet fans will have enough chances to enjoy the current, very strong lineup. High expectations have risen to hear the new drummer Charles (Chuck) Cummings who recently joined the rhythm section. The Violets will close this year's festival Saturday night but some special moments in the famous La Luna tent are also guaranteed.

Tickets for this years Stairway show can only be bought Saturday night at the festival. Last year the entrance was free, leaving some 300 people outside the club, disappointed until the Violets came out to play an acoustic version of Low in front of the many people that couldn't be let in. This year tickets will be fl.10,- (4,5$). Make sure you buy them or have someone else buy the tickets for you. The Violets will play together with Cush that evening.

The Violets will have a busy summer according to the latest tour-schedule. Playing the One-festival, Cornerstone festival, Life festival, Tom festival and the Dutch Flevo Festival, there are chances enough to taste the rock of the current line-up and the songs of the new album. Make sure you buy your tickets in advance!

There are still some tickets available for the concert in 013, Tilburg at one of the 150 ticket post offices in Holland, to get a hold on the last tickets for Paradiso call the AUB Uitlijn (0900 0191 75 cpm). They will sell out quickly! The latest addition to the Europe 2001 tour is March 20th in the Underworld in London. More info is available now in the table below. At the show in 't Haske, Balk in Friesland, March 17th the Violets will play for about 2 hours! (0514-682230 for more info).

More dates that have been be added are March 23rd in Kortrijk, Belgium and March 25th in Stuttgart, Germany. Tickets for the show in Schijndel are going fast as well. The Holy Cow Cafe can only have some 90 people attending, btw. For the studio performance of the Violet Burning in Clublek is only a limited amount of seats available. Free reservations will be possible on weekdays through 035 6712222. The show will be broadcasted live on 3FM radio and will be streamed live to the internet in video. Welcome at the Violet Underwater!

The band just completed a short European tour playing festivals in Germany and the Netherlands. This marked the first time Europe could enjoy prodigal son Andy Pricket and the excellent new drummer Daniel Ponce playing with the Violet Burning In Holland the band started the show with a robotic-dance choreography, sang a Dutch Christmas-hymn and almost watched the venue burn down because of an accident in the crowd. Holland is eagerly waiting the return of the band next March when they will come over for a two week Europe-trip, probably playing the Netherlands, Germany, Great-Britain, and Belgium, together with the Scandinavian band Glorybox.
