This is a beautiful song conveying the 'underwater' theme of cleansing, baptism and washing away of memories. The endlessness reminds me of what eternity must be like. For all you that saw 'the Piano' will probably understand what I mean. [menelaos] Notes: sometimes the C chord sounds better when played as 032033 also: G as 320033 Em as 022033 capo @ 1 G Em She walks in fields of light G under Brighton skies C and leads me to her door G Em We crash into the sea G Oceana and me C and dance beneath the sweet, sweet waves G Mary comes and kisses me D Em In her blushing eyes I see delight G C I'll shade you, if I can G D So lead me down Em C 'cause I'm overtaken G D and ring me out Em G Em tell me it's al - right G Em Only blind can see G like Oceana and me C Twisting in God's green, green sea G Em If I gave to you G two angels, painted blue C Would you bring me to your shore? G Mary comes and kisses me D Em In her broken eyes I've seen the light G C I'll shade you, if I can G D So lead me now Em C 'cause I'm overtaken G D Pour me out Em C tell me it's alright G D Em - C I'm sinking down G D Em - C and reaching out (Oceana) G C I'll shade you if I can (Oceana) G C I'll shade you if I can G C Oceana lead me |
